Easy To Play Guitar Songs

Welcome to ‘Easy Play Guitar Songs‘.  My name is Anthony, I’m not a guitar ‘Pro’, in fact I’ve only just started learning to play guitar. But stick with me here…

I love music, and having recently had a little boy I really liked the idea of just picking up a guitar and playing songs to him.  I was actually a music producer 10 years ago, but never picked up the guitar until recently.

So, I started my journey with a battered old acoustic and a search on Google.  I was amazed that it was difficult to find just a few easy acoustic guitar songs, and the ones I did find were difficult to understand.  It was also very rare to find an example with the actual song available to listen to.

I persevered with what I did find, and simplified the instructions for myself.  Having now pulled a nice repertoire of simple instructions together I am here to release them to the world and help you get started quickly.

As noted, you will find other resources on the internet, but our aim here is to keep things straightforward, in an easy to understand format… with the original song, the chords and the lyrics all together.  Each song post may even fit on a single A4 sheet.

We will start out with the 5 easiest songs to play on guitar, I’ll be posting these over the next few weeks.  Followed by a new song each week.

I am also delving in to online guitar learning, so will be reviewing each course that I try, in a bid to find the best resources for learning to play guitar quickly and easily.
